Angels: Part I

We are not alone.

In a previous blog I stated that I have beliefs and knowledge of the existence of more than what we see in the material world. In my most recent blog I described two visits I received from Ee-shua (Jesus).

SPIRIT GUIDES

Approximately 12 years ago I was visited by a Native American spirit. I was coordinating a healing with a Native American when I looked up and saw him standing behind the person being healed. The flame on the candle that I was using during the healing suddenly shot up approximately 2 feet. He was solid. When I glanced away to look at the candle and looked back at where he had stood, he was gone. He looked familiar.

Later that day, after I had completed coordinating healings for other people, I began reviewing some of my books, including Black Elk Speaks in search of the familiar man. It was then I realized the picture of Nicholas Black Elk on the front cover was of the person I saw. He was a holy man of the Oglala Lakota, second cousin of Crazy Horse and lived in this world from 1863-1950. He recognized the similarities between his indigenous faith and the faith of Christians. He chose to be baptized in the Catholic faith while continuing to honor and practice the faith traditions of the Lakota.  In short, he became one of my spirit guides.

Over the last 13 years I have experienced several other instances with entities and other spirit guides, or what we call ghosts and non-beneficial entities, which I will describe in upcoming blogs.

Doreen Virtue, in her book, Archangels and Ascended Masters: A Guide to Working with and Healing with Divinities and Deities, lists and describes several entities that she has seen and spoken to from multiple faith and cultural traditions. She states that, “An ascended master is a great healer, teacher or prophet who previously walked upon the earth and who is now in the spirit world helping us from beyond.” (p. 14). Virtue further states that, “the divinities described in this book are quite real.” (p. 23).

We all have spirit guides who are ready and able to help us as we walk our spiritual paths in this world.

There are many descriptions of angels in the Bible as messengers, guides, healers, protectors and more. As the Bible says, ask and you shall receive.

Feel free to share this blog. Peace and Blessings to you and yours.
