Jesus
Recently a dinner guest stated that Jesus never existed. He said Jesus was a made-up character created to enable those in power to control the masses.
Jesus (Ee-shua) indeed existed physically and exists in Spirit today. I know because he showed himself to me on two occasions. The first occasion was when I was performing a healing ceremony with a woman who had significant kidney failure and was receiving dialysis treatments. As I stood behind this person, what I can only describe as a sliding door opened into another dimension and Jesus walked through the opening into the room. He approached the person but did not touch her. He slowly backed away and returned the way he had come in.
I informed the person what I saw, and she said Jesus was not welcome as her father had been physically abusive for several years using the name of Jesus as the excuse for the abuse. I attempted to explain that Jesus would not condone such behavior to no avail. While the person improved for a short while, the healing did not last. The father had used the name of Jesus to instill fear into his child and justify his tendency to use physical violence to ensure ‘proper’ behavior; “spare the rod, spoil the child” syndrome.
I was reminded how Jesus was unable to perform healings in his hometown because the villagers knew him as the son of a carpenter and did not believe such a person could perform healing miracles. He ended up leaving the town to be of service elsewhere.
I was also reminded that the Bible has been modified many times over the years to benefit those in positions of authority at the expense of the general populace. I prefer the Peshitta Bible translated from the original Aramaic language by Dr. George Lamos, which is sold by the Noohra Foundation (Noohra.com).
Dr. Lamas was a renowned Assyrian biblical scholar proficient in Aramaic and Hebrew. He helped thousands understand how the Semitic context of culture, language, idioms, symbolism, mystical style, psychology, and literary amplification related to this ancient Eastern text (excerpt from the Noohra Foundation founder biography of Dr. Rocco Errico.)
The second time I saw Jesus was when I was driving on I-88 from Albany, NY to my hometown of Endicott, NY. Again, a door opened into another dimension and Jesus floated by lying on a thick solid gold cross. On his head, instead of a wreath of thorns, was a wreath of flowers. He looked at me and smiled. He then stood in front of me and retreated into the other dimension. At the time I was traveling over 70 miles per hour and my eyesight of the road was blocked by this vision. However, after Jesus returned to his dimension and the door closed, I could see the road clearly. It was a mind-blowing experience, and I am humbled by it.
The opening of the doors reminded me of the holodeck on the Starship Enterprise in the TV series Star Trek. Crew members were able to enter the holodeck and experience other times and places, after which they would leave the holodeck and return to their lives on the starship. Food for thought.
