Healing Mother Earth
“If you have faith in God…anything you pray for and ask, believe that you will receive it and it will be done for you.”[1]
Our Mother Earth is hurting. Environmental disasters are multiplying, and this is only the beginning. She is protecting herself from the negative consequences of the destruction of her environment due to human greed and mismanagement of her natural resources.
As I mentioned in previous blogs, we have capabilities beyond what we experience with our five senses. We, individually and collectively, can alter this pattern by healing ourselves and Mother Earth. The key is LOVE.
Everything is energy and energy vibrates. Thoughts have energy. We can use that energy to help bring Mother Earth back into balance without the need of environmental disasters that will threaten the existence of humans as a species. Harnessing our energy can give our brothers and sisters more time to grow spiritually as they walk their spiritual paths on this physical plane.
“First you must shine with positive, high-spirited vibrations, full of love…it is essential to love yourself, to be able to thank yourself and to respect yourself. When you do, each of these vibrations will be sent out into the cosmos, and the great symphony of that harmonic vibration will enfold our planet with waves, such as those that cherish your heaven granted life.”[2]
The Bible is replete with examples of how people influenced their environments with prayer and thanksgiving, from Moses striking a rock to produce water for the Israelites in the desert to Ee-shua (Jesus) calming a vicious storm. Remember, he said we could do all that he has done and more.
Masuro Emoto described the results of prayer at Lake Biwa in Japan on July 25, 1999. A total of 350 people along with a Shinto priest gathered around the lake, which was covered with algae due to dioxin pollution. They prayed the following ten times: “The infinite power of the universe coalesced, took solid form and created a truly harmonious world.”[3] The result was that the algae were eliminated and cleared. I strongly recommend reading Emoto’s books, including Water Crystal Healing: Music and Images to Restore Your Well-Being.
Shamans throughout history used prayer and ceremony to influence the weather. We have that capability too. Whether you pray alone with your hands together in the prayer position, belong to a prayer or drum circle, or would like to participate in a ceremony focused on sending healing love to Mother Earth, you can send LOVE energy into the cosmos and help heal our earthly Mother.
“We are thankful to our Mother, the Earth, for she gives us all that we need for life. She supports our feet as we walk about her. It gives us joy that she continues to care for us as she has from the beginning of time. To our mother, we send greetings and thanks. Now our minds are one.”[4]
Please feel free to share this blog with your networks. Peace and blessings to you and yours.
